It is a beautiful and attractive pebble beach with turquoise waters, surrounded by impressive verdant hills. Thousands of visitors are attracted every summer by the natural beauty of the place. Antisamos Beach also offers a snack bar.

Antisamos 360° Pictures Antisamos on the map Our Impressions: The beach is one of the island’s best and can be admired from the headland before a sharp descent by road. It featured in the book that has done much for the island’s fame and there’s a café here called ‘Captain Corelli’s’. Nearby goats run wild and on the beach itself the clean white pebbles sit above beautiful clear water. Behind the hill rises high above sunseekers with a mass of pines covering the area. Sunloungers cover a smallish area near the entrance of the beach but there is little to detach from its beauty. The monastery of Agrilion stands high above the beach and offers excellent views. You can see down to the beach and over to the direction of Sami. A church stands tall here and there is also a dilapidated tower. The monastery itself is orange tiled and very well kept. Nearby three bells hang from a piece of wood attached to a tree. The beach is definitely worth a visit and journeying by road the monastery is just a short detour.
