Kefalonia Agios Thomas 01 Agios Thomas Kefalonia: Agios Thomas consists in two sandy beaches which are the nearest beaches from the village of Karavados. The first beach is a small sandy beach located just below the tavern where the road stops.
The second beach is larger and reachable through a rocky slab where a comfortable snack-bar can be found, offering refreshing shadow and a beautiful view over the small bay of the area.

Our Impressions:
The road slopes down sharply from the pretty village of Karavados to this beach. There is a reasonably sized carpark and then walking through the trees some steps down to a lovely bay. The sand here is soft and light while the water laps softly against it. To the right is a large rock slab that acts as an alternative spot for sunbathing. A path over the headland is easy to spot and taking this you will find a slightly larger bay which is equally as nice if not nicer. Here large rocks sit on the beach and behind you the cliff is sandy yellow and well eroded.
Both of these bays are very pleasant and not very far from the main town so quite easily accessible. They are also quite popular and not very peaceful.
