Kefalonia: Agios Nikolaos Kefalonia

Agios Nikolaos Kefalonia: Agios Nikolaos is a great sandy beach situated 7km south of Argostoli. The biggest part of the area is mountainous and grassy with few pine trees and olive groves. This beach doesn't get as frequented as the other beaches in the region but it is a bit noisy due to its closeness to the airport of Kefalonia. The shore of Agios Nikolaos is sandy but the sea shore has few rocks, which can be uncomfortable. There is a picturesque tavern next to the beach offering light meals and all kinds of cold drinks. The beach is easily accessed due to the short distance to the city center.
