Kefalonia is the largest island in the Ionian Sea. Although it has become very touristy in the recent years, it still keeps a traditional way that is seen in everyday life and architecture.

However, the most famous structure of Kefalonia is the bridge that connects Argostoli to an opposite shore and that is named De Bosset Bridge, after its constructor. Although the bridge was built in 1813, it works till today. On its side, there is a floating pyramid, once connected to the bridge but now unattached.
