Kounopetra Kefalonia: Kounopetra is a little touristy resort located 9 kilometres south of the village of Lixouri and has been name after the natural phenomenon of Kounopetra (moving rock) which consists in a huge rock that moving constantly and rhythmically from East to West. After the strong earthquakes of 1953, the gap between the shore and the rock became larger and destabilised the movement of the rock. Accommodations can be found in the resort.
