My wife and I stayed in Afrato for 6 days/ 5 nights. This place is exactly what is needed to relax and enjoy Cephalonia and its unique beauty. The hosts, Jerry and his wife, are the personification of Hellenic hospitality and courtesy.
Thank you for everything.
Will see you soon. |

This was our second visit to Lourdas and our first stay in Afrato Village we absolutely loved it. Goreous spacious apartments with views to die for. The pool area was fantastic and Jerry and Christine were so friendly and helpful, as were all the local people that we met.
Didn't mind the walk into Trapezaki or Lourdas as it was so pretty.
Wish we were still there now. We will definitely be returning again! |

Stayed here in June 2010 -What a treat! The pictures on the web do not
do this place justice. We had the blue room - it was beautiful,
spacious and clean, with a beautiful sea view from the balcony.
Everything was almost new and well looked after. The shower pressure
better than some 5 star hotels and the beds
exceptionally comfortable.. The pool area was gorgeous- breathtaking
views with an big inviting pool with sun lounges, pool showers and
toilets. Everything classy and clean. Jerry and his wife's pride for
their place is most evident and he was such a wonderful host. We got the ferry from Zante ( much
cheaper flights) and Jerry collected us from the port, however I know
he also picks his guests up from the airport. Thanks again Jerry.

Just back from our 4th visit to Afrato, and as lovely, quiet and relaxing as ever.Jerry and Christina are the most hospitable couple and are always on hand to help and advise, nothing is too much trouble.May is our favourite time, the countryside is beautiful although not all shops and tavernas are open.If you don't like walking(up hill)a car is essential as the mini market and nearest taverna is approx. 1 mile away, but we have always managed without.Don't come if want nightlife but if you want a peaceful holiday in lovely suuroundings this is the place for you. |

We had a fantastic time at Afrato village in Kefalonia and highly recommend it. It was our 6 month old sons first holiday and what a holiday it was! Amazing weather, beautiful beaches, stunning pool and incredible views from our apartment. Apartment was equipped with everything we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks Jerry and hopefully see you again x |
