The
beautiful island of Ithaca produces excellent olive oil,
eggs, goats meat, various kind of cheeses,
yogurt from cow’s milk and goat’s milk, a rich variety
of fresh fish and very good wine among which particularly
famous is the wine made at the village of Perahori.
Local specialities can be tasted at many of the fine taverns
of the island and will delight everyone, The products are
fresh and locally grown with care and offering their best
aroma and quality.
