Ithaca Review:
Our wish to step and live a bit in Ithaki, a mithology island, was the reason we chose this particular island. We did find people and villages very nice, beaches pretty and quiet (we love it) and historical monuments not realy well indicate and a bit careless, but we do like to discover and we understand is need a lot of money to keep monuments, and nowadays the visitors are more interested in boats and beaches. The food at the restaurants we visited was super and we did enjoy very much. We recommend Polyphemus restaurant in Stravos. The food, the service, the garden, a Restaurant with character. Don't leave the island without visiting Sarakiniko beach, the villages of Frikes, Stavros and Kioni. What we enjoyed most was discovering the island, we did visit all the villages and monuments!
