It surpassed all of our expectations

The trip: We flew to Kefalonia and then ferry to Ithaca Island. The trip was long but without any problem.
Reasons for going to Ithaca: Because it seemed it forfilled everything we required in a holiday.
Idea before arriving: Quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery, very green, friendly people, good food, great weather, clean and tidy, quaint villages.
Expectations and opinions: The island of Ithaca has surpassed all of our expectations. Ithaca is absolutely excellent (Thaumasia!). A small island we a great atmosphere, very ralaxing and no troubles at all a any hour of the day of night. Like most of the islands of Greece it seems that criminality do not exist.
It is also a mythical island that worth to be visited.
Favorite thing about Ithaca: It is impossible to choose. There are many thinks I loved. Maybe the best thing is the village of Vathy in the early mornings... The beaches are really great also. Greet colours, cosy ambiance...
Negative opinion: Nothing negative, really!
Recommendations: If you want to get away from mass tourism then Ithaca is the island for you.
Yes. We will get back there soon enough to recharge our batteries...
