When you go to Corfu you understand why it?s such a popular island; the extreme beauty of its capital, its beautiful beaches and its Venetian architecture will charm you. The most impressive part of the island is surely its wonderful capital. I was really impressed by the richness of the island?s architecture which testifies about its glorious past. I have travelled around Greece for many years now and it is one of the pleasant towns.
You can pass so many hours in its small alleys and its beautiful streets, discovering the venetian castles, the Byzantine churches, the elegant buildings, the superb mansions, the imposing palaces and the beautiful monuments. You really feel like being in another place and time.
