Every summer Corfu hosts the Ionian Summer Music Academy, featuring brass, wind and percussion, ancient Greek music, instrumental and vocal interpretation sections. Free concerts are held at the Town Hall Square, the Saint Spiridon Plakada and the Municipal Theatre. The program for 2008 is divided into 5 musical presentations.
1-10 July: Woodwinds and Percussion
7-12 July: Symphony Music
15-20 July: East Meets West
22-27 July: Classical Experience
28-31 July: Ionian Jazz Concerts
