Guestbook of Dinas Paradise Apartment

It is an honor for me to be the first reviewer this year. We (my wife, my 15 years old daughter and me) stayed at Dinas Paradise for the first time, on the last week of August. We had a 3 persons apartment, the one that you can see on their site, taking the 3D tour.

First of all I must say what is really important for us when we book a place for vacation:

- the view-balcony - the balcony must be pretty large and the view as fine as it can be, as we are spending more time on the balcony than in the room;
- the room - must be pretty large and clean. The air conditioner is a must. The TV or telephone are not required;
- wireless internet is a must, either in the room or balcony, as my business is online, besides we are talking a lot with our friends over the internet.

We had plenty of all of the above at Dinas. The view is stunning, as you can see in the photos. It is, for sure, one of the best views in Agios Gordios.

From the balcony you can see the sun going down in the Ionian Sea and this is something to see!

The room is fine, actually there are two rooms in the 3 persons apartment, one with a bed and kitchen, one with two beds and the balcony entrance. The beds are large, we didn't use the bed in the first room as the two beds in the bedroom were large enough for three people. The room was daily cleaned and the sheets and towels were replaced properly.

The entire place is surrounded by well kept gardens, there is a lot of green and flowers around and there is a spectacular stone above the south part of the location. For the cats lovers, as we are, there are 4 or 5 cats around :)

There is a pool available and we enjoyed the sunset from it, as it can be seen in the photos.

Last but not least, the owners Dina and Vassilis are kind and helpful. Vassilis drove us down in Agios Gordios with his car at our departure as our baggage was pretty heavy. They would be able to drive us up at our arrival, but I didn't think to call and ask them.

The place is around 300 meters from the beach through the village, but there is a shorter way that leads directly to the beach. If you have a car, yours or hired, it is fine but if you walk, the climb will be quite testing. It will be good for your health though, you will burn off the extra calories from moussaka.

We highly recommend Dinas Paradise and if we will come to Corfu again, we are definitely going to stay at Dinas. This was one of our best holidays, thank you Dina and Vassilis!

We had a lovely time at Dina's Paradise apartments. Would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone who wants a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Fantastic views, lovely quiet pool area and approximately five minutes walk down to the beach and shops/restaurants. The owners Dina and Vassils were very friendly and helpful.

I have actively debated with at least one other guest whether to talk about Dina's, as the best secrets are those kept. Anyway, there is no place I have been in the world that draws me back like this one (except home). Dina's is the perfect Greek sanctuary, run by a couple with the wisdom to know what brings out the best in it.

We first came to Dinas Paradise Apartments 12 years ago with our children who have now both left home. Our children have both stayed here with their respective partners and love it just as much as we do.

Billy and Dina make you so welcome and ensure that you have a relaxing and memorable holiday. We would recommend Dinas Paradise Apartments to all our friends and family.

We are just waiting to retire so that we can spend more than our usual two weeks holiday at Dinas Paradise Apartments.

As always we book our apartment for next year at the end of our holiday, so that we know we have got something to look forward to.

This year I stayed at Dina's Paradise for the first time. I have visited the resort for the past 15 years and walked past the gate many times. On reccomendation from other friends I decided to stay at Dina's for the first time. I must thank my friends for their good information.

Dina's occupies a hillside site overlooking the bay with fantastic views. The accomodation is first class and well maintained. The rooms have Air-con and a TV. The toilet/bathroom has a built in hairdrier for the ladies. The kitchen facilities are to Greek standard but perfectly adequate for self catering. On the pool terrace is a BBQ which I think is possible for guests to use.

The view from the pool terrace at sunset is not possible to beat. If you are a keen photographer, be prepared to take many photo's to capture that "ONE" you are happy with.

My hosts Dina and Vassilis could not of been of more help.It was almost embarresing to be asked every day if everything was OK. For those who wish to keep in contact with home there is free internet access and WiFi.

Roll on the end of the year when the flight schedules for 2010 are released and I will be booking to return. The only thing that will determine my dates are schedules. Getting broody even typing this report.
