This mansion located at the old town of Corfu dating back to the 1823 was the residence of the ancestor Loukas Metaxas and his family. His daughter Victoria, was born in 1901 and passed away in1993. Recently, the family decided to renovate the 19th century mansion and convert it to a gorgeous boutique hotel, following the steps of their grandmother known by the locals as Siorra Vittoria.The restorations of the building proceed with extreme care in order to preserve its authentic style by a talented architect.The interiors transfer you back to another era, influenced by the Venetian architecture and Corfu's cultural heritage.

YOUR PRIVATE RESIDENCE:The boutique hotel consists of nine luxurious rooms; seven of them are spread evenly over the two floors of the residence with the exception of the 'Exclusive suite' at the top floor of the residence. The other two superior rooms are individually situated adjacent to the main building.The characteristic wooden staircase leads to the gracious rooms and suites, each one with a unique personality named after the ancestors of the Metaxas family.
All the rooms are equipped with modern comforts and facilities, making your stay a truly memorable experience.Some rooms are interconnecting offering a great convenience for families or groups of four guests.The brand name furnishings, designed exclusively for the hotel by a famous worldwide company based in Milan, are all color-coordinated and crafted with great attention to detail remind of the residence historic past.The pretty bedrooms are simple appointed with oak wood floors and classy wooden furniture. The walls are painted in soft tones of pink, yellow or combination of both- applying 'stucco venetsiano' technique.The cozy environment is also enhanced by the fluffy pillows, made of goose quills and the relevant lavish quilts using the best quality of feathers.Alternatively, the room facilities include direct-dial phones, LCD TV set, DVD player, satellite TV, safe box, dimmer for lights and mini bar with a variety of refreshments and snacks.

The mansion rests in three floors with the ground floor consisting of a luxurious living room, the dining area and the lushly garden. Decorated with antique furniture, leather lined couches, wooden floor and pastel walls with subtle lighting could be perfectly used as a conference room. The hotel offers technical support such as a laptop with internet access, a fax machine and a photocopier.The gracious dining area in soft tones of white, decorated with designed furnishings and stylish period fabrics which reveal the building's original integrity, is the perfect place to take your breakfast or have a cup of coffee while admiring the wonderful garden view. In the event of any special request, we are willing to prepare your favored dish so long as we receive prior notice.The 300 square meters lush garden is full of colorful flowers, pines and other Mediterranean plants, however the most amazing spectacle is the age-long Magnolia tree dating back to the 18th century. On sunny days, guests can further enjoy the wonderful garden and take their breakfast in the beautiful shady spot under the unique Magnolia tree. The setting is also perfect for small wedding receptions, parties or gatherings during the summer period.
