Agios Matheos Corfu: Agios Matheos is a mountainous village located 25 kilometres south-west of Corfu Town . It is an important village of 1500 inhabitants. The village was built inside a dense forest and it has a charming architecture composed of stone built houses. A few kilometres from the village one can find the beach of Halikounas. It is a athentic area and proposes some accommodations, taverns and cafes.
