Barbati: I don\'t really know why this was my favourite beach in Corfu. Probably for the nice setting and the clean water, because the sea bed was very uncomfortable with all those big rocks. A small path goes down to the beach and above it, there are some taverns.

Kanoni Cafe: The cafe with the most typical view of Corfu, to Pontikonisi and the monastery of Vlacherna. Take the bus from Corfu Town to Kanoni (15 min bus ride).

Kassiopi: Very picturesque village with a fishing port and nice taverns around it.

Monastery of Paleokastritsa: You need a car or you go on foot up to this monastery, because the bus doesn\'t go up the hill only till the beach. This is a typical Greek monastery (sadly a bit commercialized, but you expect this in such a crowded area). Amazing view to the sea and the rocky coasts.

Paleokastritsa: I didn\'t like the beach of Paleokastritsa (the coldest water on Corfu and the msot crowded) but the setting was amazing and so green! Take an excursion to the caves. Many boats start from this beach and go tours around the area.

Palio Frourio Cafe: The best view of the town is from the Cafeteria in the Old Fortress.

Vidos Island: Small boats in summer depart from the Old Port (in front of the entrance of the New Fortress) and go to the small island of Vidos. Just swim, have lunch with view to the town and walk in the small forest. Boats leave every hour or 30 minutes.
