Liapades
Corfu: Liapades is the third biggest village of Corfu situated on the west coast of the Ionian island, 5km from Paleokastritsa and 20km from Corfu Town. It is a traditional settlement that has not been yet affected by mass tourism, retaining its natural beauty. Liapades is known for the wine making facilities producing wines with unique taste and color.
Liapades is built on a green hill, near Paleokastritsa, overlooking the green landscapes and the magnificent bay. The village has a population of 1,000 inhabitants most of whom are engaged in agriculture, fishing, tourism and wine production. The tourist area of Liapades is centered around the beach where many taverns, restaurants and bars are available as well as many local services. |
