General information

Hosting about 500 permanent residents, Pelekas in Corfu is a small village that used to be more of a quiet-type resort but is now quite lively during the high season! It features narrow-paved streets and retro-style buildings, showcasing a traditional village of the old times!

The village, built on a hilltop in central/western Corfu, houses the stunning Kaiser Throne, an excellent spot for visitors to enjoy one of the richest panoramic views in all of the Ionian, spanning throughout the entire length of the island! Also, the nearby sandy beach of Kontogialos is no more than one kilometer away from the village and is partly organized!

    Enjoy the sunset
    The village with the best sunset in Corfu!!! It is located on the slopes of a hill, almost in the centre of the island. The village itself is not very tourist, but there are two beaches near Pelekas (Agios Gorgis and Pelekas beach) that are among the most tourist places in Corfu. There you will find lots of hotels, seaside taverns and watersports. Very busy in high season, but the landscape close to Pelekas is very green and beautiful. A couple of km north, there is the Valley of Ropa with a large golf ground.
