Mainly situated in the capital’ centre, shops in Corfu are very diverse and numerous for Corfu Town is an important town of 30, 000 inhabitants which is why one can find all kind of shops like in all the big towns.
Many of those shops are selling jewellery, leather goods, local ceramics and olive wood objects as well as various other touristy items; those touristy shops are opened all day long until late in the night, every day in the week.
The other shops are opened six days a week until 9 pm with a break between 2 pm and 5 pm and, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday they are open from 9am to 3pm.
