Hello! I’m Brigitte Bentham, British, and I have been going to Corfu since 1983. This summer, I stayed for a month. My friends and relatives live there and we often go to visit. This island is the loveliest place; once you go there, you want to return. The food is delicious and homemade; in fact the local tavernas are among the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The beaches are clean, my favorite one is Agios Stefanos, in the north-west of the island. It is a place worth visiting. You should definitely go to Corfu, walk the coastal path, through the olive groves and embrace its culture.
