The greeks know how to enjoy themselves

Corfu Review:
I have family in Corfu, and I thought it would be beautiful visiting it, it's Corfu! We drove from Alexandroupoli to Igoumenitsa and then we had to use a ferry to get to the island. I heard it's unlike any island because it has some Italian & French influences there. I pictured very venetian-looking buildings, cobblestone streets, and beautiful landscapes. I pictured the beaches to be clean and beautiful, the water to be calm like the bay but as blue and crystal clear as they show on TV. I know that most islanders are very friendly and was hoping they spoke English, because I traveled with a few American friends. The weather was absolutely perfect, dry heat, no humidity, no rain, everyday was a gorgeous day. The nightlife, what can I say, the Greeks know how to enjoy themselves. Whether we were in Corfu town, in the casino or up in Sidari, mingling with the English, it was a blast. Corfu was perfect especially because all the merchants spoke English. The best beach we visited was Agios Georgios, and we loved the villages of Arillas and Paleokastritsa. I especially enjoyed walking around Corfu Town and the beaches. I will definitely come again. I give it a 10/10
