The island is very quiet and peaceful and not suited for young people in search for fun things to do and for joyful clubs (except for Kavos which is a resort where very young British people go to drink, get high, dance and "make close-one-night-stand-friends"). Aqualand is also a fun place.
Before you go, search very carefully for information about the area, for proper accommodation and if possible search for opinions from people who visited the area or stayed at the hotel. I had a very bad experience with the hotel (Green Island in Moraitika resort): small and poor rooms, very bad food and unfriendly manager.
