Corfu is a place where any visitor can find everything needed during the trip. Active and overcrowded places are combined with rather isolated areas and beaches.
If you need an energetic nightlife, you should find it out in advance whether a particular place has got anything to offer you.
Almyros is a quiet place whith no nightlife, a few good tavernas, sandy, partly rocky, narrow beach with no natural shade.
Six tavernas located in Almyros were all very good (as everywhere in Greece) offering nice food at the economical price. Bars and coffee shops are located either at the territory of the hotel or 2 km away in Acharavi.
Car rent is a must on Corfu. Taxi is a problem in Almyros, there is no taxi stand, except if a taxi comes to the village.
Install ATMs in small villages.
Provide post terminals for all small tavernas and shops and guarantee good connetion to the banks.
Do more cleaning of the beaches (no dust bins and no beach cleaning at all in Almyros area).
