More about: Corfu island
I just returned from a wedding in Corfu. I have friends there living in the Old Town. We Serbians love Greece and the Greek people, we are connected to them and the Greeks love us. Everything in Corfu is so relaxed and easy, I neved had any problem there . Everybody are verry polite and friendly, I feel there as at home.

Bigest impresion for me is island Vido and the Serbian house, and way how greek gouverment take care about Vidos. Drink frape glika, tria zahari elafri, that's the best coffee!

Restaurants and tavernas are verry clean, service is verry good, prices are normal. One of my favorite restaurants is Dimarcheio, En Plo, Rex, and many tavernas which I don't know the names.. Rent a car even for 2 days,it is not far away to visit coasts and to stop on lot of wonderful nature beauty spots. It's worth and stay in memory. Corfu has lots of churches... Monastey of Pantocrator is on almost every postcard... The only problem that there is no direct plane line from Beograd to Corfu in May and have to go via Athens.
