From the information obtained on the Internet, it looked like the ideal place for a holiday. We hired a car and apart from pre-ooking 2 nights accommodation at a hotel in Corfu Town, we did not have any other accommodation booked before. We travelled round the north east coast and down the north west and stayed at several places. We spent 2 nights in Corfu Town, 1 night Kassiopi and 2 nights in Agios Georgios. Unfortunately had several thunderstorms with torrential rain during our stay. Tried several tavernas and all were good. The prices on the island were also good. A piece of advice for future visitors: Visit Corfu Town, Kalami, Kassiopi and Agios Georgios Pagon (there's a beautiful beach there) and give Sidari a miss, it's too commercialized.
