Paleokastritsa of Corfu is absolutely gorgeous. We spent 4 glorious days there swimming in breathtakingly crystal clear waters and visiting secluded and beautiful beaches. Our hotel, the Akrotiri Beach Hotel, provided good accommodation and our room overlooked a beautiful bay. Only one bad thing, but I don't think it is a fault of the hotel: a couple of mornings we had no running water in the hotel, so water supply to the island seems to be lacking. For a tourist area this was unexpected.
There was a great supply of good restaurants and the area is within an easy drive (20 minutes) from Corfu Town. We ate out at different restaurants every night and the food and service was excellent everywhere we went. Recommended restaurants in the Paleokastritsa area include Nereidis (which included a greek fire dancing show), Nausica Restaurant and Limani Restaurant located near the Glass Bottom Boat pick up wharf. The local food was wonderful, we enjoyed white bread, grilled/baked fetta, stuffed tomatoes, moussaka and heaps of other Greek delights.
Take a taxi boat service and go to Paradise Beach. You will probably be the only ones there, so you will have the whole beautiful beach to yourselves. The beach at the end of the road at Paleokastritsa is also nice, at the point where you can hire paddleboats. Water at both beaches was amazing.
