Corfu: One of the most popular beaches of the island, Glyfada is located 16 kilometres west of Corfu Town. The large surface of fine sand is surrounded by trees-covered cliffs and imposing rocky formations which are dropping into the crystalline waters.

Our Impressions:
This is another of the island’s very long beaches. It stretches on and with some lovely sand. The sea has contrived to carve out some of this to create an almost balcony effect. There’s a lovely view from here of the hills.
Impressions: One of the best examples of Corfu’s sandy type beaches. It is also quite spacious so there’s room for sunbathing despite its popularity.
