Almyros Corfu: This is an extremely long beach. At the centre there is a lot of development with hotels and bars. As you make away to the extremities it is a lot quieter and isolated. There is a great view to the right of the rolling hills of Albania in the distance. The waves here are quite large and good fun for children. It’s quite a sandy beach though not without pebbles. The beach is quite thin in places with the waves reaching right up to the loungers positioned against the back of the beach.

Our Impressions:
This beach is busy at its hub but you can get away from the hustle with a bit of walking. It’s a nice beach with waves but not too much wind.

- Where to eat/drink: Plenty of places at the centre of the beach
- Shops/Minimarket: There are shops behind the centre of the beach
- Telephone: In the developed area
- Beach Activities: Windsurfing is available here despite the waves
