Halkidiki Nea Potidea 01 Nea Potidea Village Halkidiki: South of Nea Potidea visitors will encounter the fishing village of Nea Phokea.

This village was also founded by the refugees from Asia Minor, after 1922.

The village attracts a lot of tourists because of its amazing and clean beaches and its fine archaeological sites.

 
Among the many interesting things to see in Nea Phokea is the Byzantine fortress Tower, built in 1407 in honour of the Apostle Paul and the ancient funerary monument dedicated to Saint Paul, which was used as a church during Byzantine times.

Visitors will found every touristy facility such as restaurants, luxurious hotels, camping sites and entertainment.
