Category: Naxos Tours

I was island hopping in Greece this summer and wanted to stay on either Santorini or Mykonos but not both so opted for Santorini then saw this day tour meaning I could visit both after all. Perfect amount of time in each place. Staff were very nice and helpful and the price of the tour was cheaper than staying in a hotel at that time. I recommend it.

Translated from french:
With Greeka.com the car rental was cheaper than anywhere else. Our agent renter Mr. Tanteles was punctual, kind and the car was in perfect condition, delivered as wanted. After having a problem of theft and vandalized car, Mrs. Tanteles helped us to speed up the paperwork with the policemen and resume the official report. I recommend Greeka.com.
Also, for ferry tickets... great idea to buy them in advance. We arrive and the tickets await us on the spot. Fast and for the same price as on-site.
Excellent service.

Unforgettable experiences ever

This year we decided to visit Greece and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences ever! First we visited Athens and we were pleasantly surprised by how polite and helping people were, especially taxi drivers. Also, the transfers were very organized and punctual and we were really glad as it would have been otherwise a very stressful experience. Regarding the accommodations, Jason Inn in Athens had an amazing rooftop view and location, while we fell in love with the pool in Astir in Santorini, which was also conveniently close to the local bus service. As for Xenia is Naxos, it was ideally located and everything was at a walking distance, from the beach to the restaurant. Can’t really choose between Santorini and Naxos, as they were both excellent choices and we were very lucky to have visited the Greek islands in October – much more quiet and the sea is still warm. Santorini has a breathtaking beauty and is ideal to explore using the local buses, while Naxos has a wild appeal, and we loved the amazing beaches and mountain walks. The hospitality of locals was heart-warming and the service provided by Greeka.com left us completely satisfied and pleased with our choice. Next time we visit Greece we’ll make sure that we know the program of certain routes in advance, but we really can’t wait to come back one day.

The tour guide makes or breaks a coach tour and my guide, Kassandra brought the Greek history alive for me.
Such a subject could get boring or all the players end up a muddle, but not so with this sassy Greek lady.
I clicked with her immediately and have to say by the end of our tour I knew so much more than I could ever have expected due to her fun and in depth commentary on all the history we encountered along the way.
She even brought the sun out on a foggy, misty, rainy morning at Meteoroa so I could get the best photo shots.
Great tour guide.
Imagine my surprise, and her's on Sunday morning to find she was guiding my tour up to Acropolis and the museum.
I got the best tour guide and she made a world of difference.

This was worth it! We stayed in Santorini 5 days and started the week with the tour to get the big view of the island. There were several places we went back later which we would not have known about, including tips on where to eat, etc. The tour guide was FABULOUS- her humor , including her "mama' advice to us "dear friends" topped all the knowledge she had of history, geography and more. Loved it!

This was an excellent day. We did a tour of Athens in the morning and then this tour in the afternoon. It was a great contrast, seeing the history of Athens but then going further afield for the Cape Sounion tour. There was some beautiful scenery on the way. Both guides were excellent, with a huge store of knowledge that they shared with us. Fantastic day; I would thoroughly recommend it!

We did our “own thing” with help and went to Athens, Santorini and Naxos. It was such a relief to see a sign with our name on when we came off the plane/ferry and to find instructions for our onward journey waiting for us! Everyone was really helpful, especially our taxi/transfer drivers but also the hotel staff. More specifically, we loved the Jason Inn in Athens –I don’t think it was our first choice BUT we would definitely use it again. It was so close to the Acropolis and the stops for the 'round the city bus'. The pool at the Astira on Santorini was wonderful for cooling off after sightseeing. Xenia on Naxos was perfect for us. Right by the harbour, it even had a view of the sea and boats. It was very clean and welcoming.

This time we only went to Santorini and Naxos, so it is difficult to choose which was our favourite island, as they are so very different. We loved Naxos for being more 'real' and for the wonderful rides on the local buses through mountains to Apponisas – it was just magical! We were also amazed by Santorini, the caldera and the Akrotiri site. We have always wanted to visit those places and were not disappointed at all. We generally preferred Fira to Oia. We’re glad we went in October; for we are dread to think what it must be like in high season! We are greedy so we would probably go to other islands next time. We will definitely recommend that people use Greeka.com!

A nice day trip but a long drive to get there and back in one day. The site was interesting but make sure you go the museum to make the most of the visit which puts things in to more perspective. Take walking shoes as some parts can be slippery especially in wet weather.

There was a good range of food which was nice.It was good meeting people from different countries on the tour. The entertainment was varied and entertaining at points. However the restaurant and some of the entertainers were a little dated!

Nice places to visit. Would have been nicer to have had some free time on Nafplio as a very pretty place. Take walking shoes for the acropolis at Mycenae.
