Classical Cyclades Islands tour

We will meet you upon your arrival at Athens Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" and transfer to your hotel in the Center of Athens. A file with travel documents will be delivered to you during your transfer along with maps, travel information booklets e.t.c.
Rest of the day is at your leisure to have a first acquaintance with the city of Athens.
Before dinner join and meet the rest of the group and the leader on an information gathering.

We start our meander with a Half Day Tour of Athens. Panoramic tour of the major sights of the Capital will be followed by a guided visit of the Acropolis and the museum and a short walk tour of Plaka (Old Town) area will lead and end to the "kingdom" of Greece's most famous Chefs Mr. Ioannis Baxevanis.
In the classical ambience of a restore old Athenian building, enjoy a most enlightening cooking classwhich will reveal you the secrets of the Greek Gastronomic Cuisine. Enjoy the lunch you will prepare to feature simple Greek dishes as well as more complicated ones.
After lunch, transfer to Piraeus main port to embark to the high speed boat and sail off to the Cyclades.
Our first stop is the central island of Paros. An island known for its beautiful beaches and the numerous little white churches and the most picturesque port in Greece, this one of Naoussa.
Transfer to our hotel laying just across the island of Antiparos.

Today we will go touring the island of Paros - the main town Parikia where we shall visit one of the most important and old monastery - churches of Greece, the Ekatontapyliani church. We depart for Lefkes village, settled
in the center of island. The village offers splendid views and is known for its unique architecture, while car circulation is prohibited. We continue to the picturesque fish harbor of Naoussa. You are free to stroll the paths of this unique village and enjoy in your own pace the ambience.
Leaving Naoussa, we cross to the nearby island of Antiparos. Time to fresh up and taste a delicious lunch.
Free time to discover this unspoilt and authentic island.
Actually, you are free to return back to your hotel, just taking the ferry which takes only 10 minutes crossing and 3 minutes walking to its door.

Breakfast.
Transfer to the port and departure for the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos, and the archaeological site of Delos island. First we visit Delos and its unique monuments and then we sail to the island of Mykonos with its perfectly maintained architecture. Lunch and free afternoon to visit the only village of the island, Mykonos Town. If you wish to go shopping, you are in the right place!
Around 5pm our boat will sail back to Paros.

Breakfast.
Morning transfer to the port and departure for the island of Naxos, the biggest in size island of Cyclades.
Discover the Town (Chora), the Venetian Castle and the archaeological museum. Leave for the village of Halki, a small village with well preserved old mansions. Visit the local old traditional citrus distillery. Then to Apiranthos, the marble village (3 museums: archaeological, natural science and geology, folklore). Visit Panagia
Drosiani, preserved church of the early Christian period. Back to the town, lunch and free time to swim and enjoy the town.
Around at 18h00 embark to the boat which will take us back to Paros.

Transfer to the port and departure for the island Santorini.
Arrival in Santorini. Visit the prehistoric museum in Fira.
In the afternoon we will depart to visit, the charming village of Oia (Ia) to enjoy a sunset you have never seen before.
At the end of a most joyful day, we shall arrive to our hotel.

Santorini is famous for its geological wealth. Cruise Nea Kameni to visit the volcano with its still active crater.
Continue to Old Kameni, the spring waters and free time to swim. Sail back to Santorini and lunch at Fira.
After lunch, free time to discover this interesting, unique village standing in its glory on the top of the Aegean Sea, witness of an unparalleled beauty which survived against the vigorousness of the nature and age.
Late at the afternoon, return to the hotel.

Morning at leisure to swim.
In the afternoon departure for the old winery for a presentation of wine yards and the wine extraction. We end our tour with a wine and meze tasting.
