As I live in Heraklion Crete, it was very easy to go to Karpathos. I took the ferry from Heraklion, but there is also another ferry from Sitia. Karpathos was better than I thought originally. I spent a day in these 2 towns of Santorini . Very nice. I enjoyed being on top of the area at the Monastery. Great views of the island.
