When I think of Paxi, I have in mind the tiny and gorgeous beaches around the island. I especially remember our trip to Antipaxoi island (there are frequent boats to Antipaxoi from Gaios), I think Voutoumi is of the best beaches in Ionian (along with Kathisma and Porto Katsiki beaches on Lefkada).... You don't need many days to see Meganisi, as the island is so tiny you can trek around it. We went there from Nydri, Lefkada, and I believe this is the only way to go. The town of Oia on Santorini is fantastic. It is somewhat less touristy then Fira. A lot of people go to Oia to watch the famous sunset, which is a must see. I have been to Zakynthos 17 times!!! This is the place to be for me. Apart from some areas which have been destroyed by tourism, like Laganas, the rest of the island is heaven!
