I had never heard of Schinoussa until Greeka proposed it to me in a newsletter. Thanks you, guys, thanks you so much! I had some really relaxing 4 days there, this July. We had already decided to go to Naxos and thought why not visit another island?

It is a fortunate thing that Skyros has an airport, otherwise it would be a tiring trip from Athens. We wanted for long to go to Skyros, from the photos it seemed a great place to be and very relaxing. Yes, it was very nice and much different from the islands of Cyclades.

We recommend visitors to use Karlovassi on Samos as home base instead of Samos Town or Kokkari, it is far more "Greek" in culture. All beaches on Samos were nice, all without any exception. We were in Vassilikos Beach Hotel last week and enjoyed our holidays very much. There is nothing to complain. All persons were always very friendly and Khan too. ;) Eventually we missed the beans in red sauce at breakfast but this we can forgive. Unfortunatelly our holidays were too short. Best... More >
