I think the only positive thing about Poros is that it is very close to Athens (only 1 hour by hydrofoil) and that it has good transport between the town and the near beaches. We stayed at Alexatos again this May, and tried the other attic studio this time. Once again, we could not fault the accommodation in all respects - location, cleanliness, equipment and helpfulness of Marie-Anne, as the owner was away on business.
