Our Terms and conditions

1. What you need to know before using the Online Booking Application?

If you want to travel to the Greek islands and book a ticket with us, the only way to do it is through our Online Booking Application. This application is updated every day with new schedules and best possible prices for schedules of all ferry companies. Before you use the Online Booking Application, you should know that the application accepts only reservations that are made 4 days before the departure date. In addition to this, the ferry schedules are added to the application about two months before the departure. The application can also accept multi-trip reservations, if the schedules belong to the same company.

 

2. How much will it cost to make a reservation through the Online Booking Application?

Our service fee to make a reservation through our system is 1,1% of the ticket’s value.
This fee is the same for all agencies in Greece so the price of the tickets online is the same as in any agency of Greece.

3. How can I get my tickets?

Once you have booked your tickets through the Online Booking Application, there are two ways to get them in your hands. You can either have them sent by courier or get them from our travel agency partner on the day of the departure.

A. If you wish to get them by courier, here are the delivery costs and the deadline of delivery.

Delivery costs via courier:
Attica: € 5.4 (1-2 working days)
Greece: € 10 (1-2 working days)
Europe: € 21.45 (2-3 working days)
Germany / Cyprus: € 21.45 (2-3 working days)
Rest of the world: € 40.50 (3-4 working days)

- In case the tickets do not arrive within the above deadlines, please contact us to solve any problem and speed up the procedure.
- The refund in case of loss or destruction of the envelope containing ferry tickets by the courier company is approximately 70 Euro and not the total ticket value. This is according to the worldwide terms and conditions of all courier companies and no further refund will be made by Greeka.com

B. In case you wish to collect your tickets from our travel agency partner the day of the departure, our staff will send you the final confirmation with the client number, the address and the phone of the travel agency where you can take your tickets. The cost for this service is 2,5 euros. When you get to the agency, you must have the reservation code, the client code and your passport/ ID with you.

4. The Online Booking Application does not confirm my reservation. Why?

If the Online Booking Application does not confirm your reservation, it is possible that the cabin/ seat you have chosen is not available. The application may at first show you that the seats are available but when you actually decide to book them, then maybe someone else has done it before you. Moreover, there is a chance that there are no routes the day you wish to travel. In that case, you have to look 1-2 days before and afterwards. In addition, you should know that if you want to make the reservation too early (more than two months before the departure), then maybe the schedule has not been added into the application.

5. Can I make a reservation if I do not have a credit card?

You cannot use the Online System to book ferry tickets, if you do not have a credit card. Instead, you can use the application just to get informed on the ferry company, the routes and the travel dates.
The only way to get your tickets is by paying in a cash a local Greek agency.

6. I want to change my ticket

If you want to change any reservation you have made with us, you have to contact us by e-mail or phone. You must give us the details of your reservation (customer and reservation codes) and what kind of changes you want to make.

From that time on, we check the ferry schedules and depending on the availability of seats and the prices that time, we try to make the changes required. You should know that for every change, there is a fee to pay. If the total cost of the tickets is up to € 200, your fee is €10. If the total cost of the tickets is more than € 200, then the fee is €15. If we have sent you the first tickets to you, then the process begins from the start, so you have to pay again the delivery costs (including the fee for the changes). If there is no time for the delivery, then you can pick the tickets from our travel agent partner at the port the day of the departure (cost 2,5€).

If you have made your first journey and you want to change the other multi trips, then you have to contact directly the central office of your ferry company.

7. I want to cancel my ticket

In case you want to cancel your ticket, you should know that the cancellation policy of each shipping company applies. In order to cancel your ticket, you have to send it back to us. The cancellation procedure starts as soon as we have your ticket at hand.
