| 1. Minimum rental period. The minimum rental period is considered 1 day.
2.
Minimum driver age required. All drivers of rented vehicles must hold an E.U. or International valid Drivers license for at least 1 year prior to rental. Drivers for car groups A,A1,B,B1,C must be at least 23 years old, whereas for car groups D,E,F,G,BA,K,J,R,T,S,S1,X,L drivers must be at least 25 years old.
3. Minimum kilometer charge. All rentals are subject to a per kilometer charge for all kilometers driven, with a minimum of 100 klm. per day. This charge applies unless otherwise stated on the Rental Agreement.
4. Maintenance. The renter performs the scheduled maintenance. The renter due to normal wear and tear periodically replaces the tires of the vehicles. All other damages due to misuse of the vehicle is charged to the rentee (i.e Damaged tire sidewalks etc.).
5. Basic insurance coverage. All vehicles are covered with basic Third Party Liability Insurance which is required by Greek law. Coverage limits: Third Party Bodily Injury 500.000,00 euro, Third Party Property Damage 100.000,00 euro
OPTIONAL Coverage's
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - Covers the vehicle irrelevantly of liability, with a deductible amount of 400,00 Euro for car groups A,A1,B,B1,BA,C, 600,00 Euro for car groups D,E,F,G,R,T,1.100,00 Euro for car groups J,K,S and 1.500,00 Euro for car groups X,L,S1.
Daily Charge: This coverage is included in the price for the above car groups respectively.
- Full Damage Waiver (FDW) - Covers the deductible amount that applies to the CDW coverage.
Daily Charge: For car groups A,A1,B,B1,BA,C 5,95 Euro, for car groups D,E,F,G,R,T, 8,33 Euro, for car groups J,K,S 14,28 Euro and for car groups X,L,S1 21,42 Euro.
- Theft Waiver (TW) - Covers the rented vehicle against total theft with a deductible amount of 300,00 Euro for all groups, except L & S1 that it is 600,00 Euro.
Daily Charge: included in the price
- Full Theft Waiver (FTW) - Covers the deductible amount that applies to the TW coverage.
Daily Charge: 2,98 Euro
- Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) - Covers the driver of the vehicle up to the amount of 14.673,51 Euro in case disability or death.
Daily Charge: 2,98 Euro
6. Optional Equipment / Additional Charges:
- Child or Baby Seat (CS,BS) - Daily Charge: 3,00 Euro (max 29,75 Euro)
- Snow Chains - Daily Charge: 3,60 Euro (max 29,75 Euro)
- Language Rack - Daily Charge: 3,60 Euro (max 29,75 Euro)
- Delivery or Collection of vehicle from or to locations other than the National stations (COL, DEL) - Charge: 9,55 Euro within city limits and 0,48 Euro per kilometer outside city limits.
- Delivery beyond rental station operation operating hours (NDL) - Charge: 17,85 Euro.
- Additional Driver (ADD) - Daily Charge: 2,40 Euro.
7.
Traffic or other municipal fines. The Driver is fully Liable.
8. Accident administration fee. In case of accidents an administration fee of 25,00 euro will be charged. This charge applies irrelevantly of party at fault.
9. Cross boarder policy. Cross boarder rentals are allowed only within the E.U. A prior written authorization is required. There is also an insurance premium fee that applies depending on the length of the trip and the country.
10. Transport of vehicle via ship or other media. Renter's written authorization is required.
11.
Taxes. All rentals are subject to the following taxes:
Airport tax: 7% for rentals from Athens Airport (El. Venizelos).
Vat 19% for all locations (included in all prices).

Car types. All car types mentioned are sample models and are subject to change with similar models at the Renter?s discretion

Road side assistance. Provided through Interpartner Assistance - (tel. 210-9406224).

Security Deposits (SD) - A Security Deposit is required for all rentals. The amount of the security deposit varies based on method of payment and chosen optional coverage. For Cash Rentals (available for car groups A,A1,B,B1) the SD amount is equal to the full cast of the rental plus a 60,00 euro fuel deposit, plus a deductible amount (depending on the car group) plus 120,00 euro per rental day. For credit card rentals the SD amount is equal to the rental cost plus a 60,00 euro fuel deposit, plus a deductible deposit (depending on the car group). If CDW coverage is not included an additional amount equal to the value of the vehicle is required.

Payment Terms and Conditions
Please read the booking conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis on which bookings are accepted.
Responsibility
Customers acknowledge by their acceptance, that Haritou Travel Group , its agents and suppliers, in making arrangements for tours, package or transportation or any service in connection with the itineraries of individual tour members shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act of default by any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing services included in the tours and packages. Further, Haritou Travel Group , its agents and suppliers accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control.
1. Payment
Full prepayment required in order to confirm.
Credit cards accepted: Visa and Master card.
Haritou Travel Group do not charge a service fee for processing credit card payments. Payment will be listed as HTG P.A. HARITOU & Co Ltd on the credit card statement.
2. Reception of confirmation / voucher
All information regarding the travelers should be correctly given at the time of booking in order that he receives the confirmation or voucher of the product booked. We cannot be held responsible for any problem that may happen if the customer doesn't receive or read carefully his confirmation.
3. Modifications/Amendments:
All requests for modifications/amendments must be directed to the Haritou Travel Group Customer Service Department who will implement the request.
4. Refunds:
a). Prior to Departure
Please refer to the cancellation fees listed at section 6 below.
b) After Departure
No refunds are available once a tour is commenced or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.
5. Cancellation Charges:
Canceling a booking with Haritou Travel Group may result in cancellation fees being applied. Haritou Travel Group will charge cancellation fees as stated below. Additional fees may be levied by the individual supplier/operator above and beyond the fees outlined below. When cancelling the booking you will be notified via email, facsimile or telephone of the total cancellation fees.
6. Cancellation fees:
-Within 60 to 35 days of departure, 30% of the total package price.
-Within 35 to 15 days of departure, 50% of the total package price.
-Within 15 to 0 days of departure, 100% of the total package price.
7. Passports/Visas:
It is the responsibility of all passengers, regardless of the passport they hold, to check with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are required. As visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice, it is recommended that verification prior to travel be made of existing foreign visa and health requirements.
8. Prices
: Prices are per person, unless otherwise specified. Price quotations are subject to change without notice until a booking has been confirmed. Paying a booking on Haritou Travel Group means you will be charged in Euro (€) as quoted on the web site. If for any reason the price quoted is not correct, the team of Haritou Travel Group will contact you for authorization.
9. Not Included:
Any applicable foreign departure, security, port charges, park fees, customs, immigration, agricultural, passenger facility charges and international transportation tax.
Tips/gratuities to tour directors, drivers, and local guides; passports; visa; baggage and personal insurance; beverages and food not listed under inclusions in the travel product (these items are billed to you before leaving the hotel/restaurant); and all other items of a personal nature.
10. Accuracy:
We check and recheck facts about the travel product offered to ensure accuracy. When we are told in advance of a significant change to a booking, we notify the consumer/travel agent/distributor.
11. Travel Voucher(s):
Haritou Travel Group vouchers for each booking will be provided.
Vouchers will indicate all the information concerning the booking as well as the information concerning the Tour Operator.
12. Booking Arrangements:
In all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions on behalf of the persons named in the booking.
The contract will be governed by and subject to the Terms & Conditions. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of Haritou Travel Group. |
