Wakeboarding is actually a combination of water skiing, surfing, and snowboarding techniques. Over the last few years, more and more wakeboarding clubs have started to operate, while wakeboarding is a part of most water sports clubs’ programs. Even though some general rules apply, wakeboarding is more of a freestyle sport.

Most wakeboarding clubs in Greece are located on Greek islands, such as Mykonos and Crete, while others can be found at many seaside resorts of the Greek mainland. There are also some wakeboarding competitions taking place in Greece, mostly in summer and early autumn.
