Scuba diving is a popular sport in Greece and the Greek islands. The Greek sea is a wonderful place to discover, full of rare fish species and impressive sea plants. The amazing thing about the Greek seas is that divers get to explore many ship wrecks, even wrecks of ancient triremes, Medieval vessels and war ships from World War II.

Many scuba centers and clubs for diving in Greece, some based on the beaches and others in hotel premises. They offer the necessary equipment for diving and also courses for all ages and levels.

Best Scuba diving centers

Location: Amorgos, Aegialis

Established in 2007, Amorgos Diving Center is the only PADI 5 star Diving resort on Amorgos. Based in Aegiali Bay, new from 2012 we have a second office in the port of Katapola.

Location: Halkidiki, Nikiti

Atlantis Diving Centre is located in Nikiti, at the peninsula of Sithonia. They provide training programs for all ages and all levels. Also with their boat, they organize diving excursions in the safe waters of the peninsula and to remote islets closeby.

Location: Corfu, Nissaki

Apollo dive center is located on the main street of Barbati, just above the lovely port of Nissaki. The most beautiful diving sites in Corfu are a breath away from this diving center. Apollo has been awarded the PADI resort rating, which signifies PADIs diving services, safety and experience standards.

Location: Naxos, Agios Prokopios

Blue Fin Divers was founded by Panagiotis Niflis. The diving routes include magnificent trips across the sea region between Paros and Naxos, a splendid spot known for its brilliant blue-green waters and magnificent underwater environment. The owner and his team have made a thorough survey of the surrounding area and have explored all the interesting spots in this diving site of Cyclades.

Location: Mykonos, Kalafatis

Diving in Mykonos means diving into the past and antiquity with each stroke of your wing. Everywhere you find traces of old Greek and Roman UW sceneries, canyons and unique visibility of 30-40 meters. An intact flora and fauna where you can find octopuses, grouper and many shoals of barakoundas and mackerels. Diving here is also wreck diving: Ships out old like from newer times have sunk here. In only 10 minutes with the boat attainable it offers, all advantages, of a wreck: lain near a varies reef with depths between 20-30 m, the wreck is in good condition.

Location: Kefalonia, Fiscardo

Kefalonia Diving Center was established in 1997 by Giannis Chrysafis, a professional technical diver. It has branches in Fiscardo as well as Lassi and provides diving courses and trips.
