It is the most important of all archaeological museums in Greece and exhibits one of the finest collections in the world. The museum contains amazing collections of: Prehistoric items, Sculpture, Pottery and Minor art, Bronzes and Egyptian Art…It also organises temporary exhibitions.

It is a private collection of Cycladic art and considered as the most important one. It is composed by more than 350 objects of the central Aegean Area dated between 3200 and 2000 B.C. The Cycladic art is characterised by those figurines which inspired many contemporary artists.
