Greece Theme park holidays

A fairly new concept in Greece, amusement theme parks are fast becoming a popular destination with families and even young adults, who are looking to have a fun time. Even though the inception of this variety of entertainment was recent, it has grown in a short period of time, with many high quality theme parks cropping up all around Greece.

There are many reasons for this escalation in both number and popularity, some of them being the high family appeal of these parks, high standard of services provided and the overall quality of maintenance and cleanliness. On an average, visitors spend at least 5 to 7 hours within a theme park, mainly due to the number of attractions laid out for them and also since most of the parks have a pay-once price.

There are many varieties of theme park holidays in Greece, ranging from educational parks, water parks and entertainment parks complete with exciting and "dangerous" games aimed at providing guests a thrilling time.

Apart from providing thrilling rides and leisure activities, the parks are also aimed at being recreational centers, complete with hotels, conference facilities and dining areas. They also have several sports activities for visitors such as tennis, golf and water related activities.

Some of the most popular amusement parks for theme park holidays in Greece are Allou Fun Park in Athens, the Aqualand in Corfu and the Waterpark in Rhodes. Many amusement parks are also found in other greek islands and seaside resorts along Greece. Apart from their modern facilities, pools, bar and restaurant, the main attraction of these parks are the huge water slides, which is great fun for adults and children both.

With the growing popularity of theme parks in Greece, many more projects are on the way. Theme parks seem to be here to stay in Greece.
