Holiday-Crete in May pelase help

Hello, I am planning a trip in May .I is looking for good accommodation not to expensive and area advice. We are 26 old couple and we would like to go somewhere to rest on the beach and have a few trips and awesome views.
It would be really great if anyone can help me to found a good holiday place.

You can find very cheap accommodation in May.
The place that I love is the town of Chania. And there are many excursions to do arround as well as many beaches.
