September Ferries to Paros

We are a group of 5 friends attending to visit Paros in September, for few days. We don't know yet if we'll have seats in a flight from Athens;
If not we'd like to take a ferry.
Do we have to make early resevation for the ferry or there should be enough seats while we'll come to the port and buy tickets there.

Buy your tickets in Piraeus port before embarking...no problem at all if you arrive in September! Just beware off

I would suggest also Rafina harbour. It's outside of Athens and you don't have to drive all through Athens to get there. The boats leave every day around 7.40 in the morning I believe, and only if you would arrive on a friday or saterday morning and want to take the fast ferry it would be wise to maybe make a reservation. If you go to Paros than visit Aliki and the south of Paros, and don't forget to hop on the small ferry to visit the neighbouring island of Antiparos .
