Port Hotel or pool bar

With an 8 hour gap from getting off the Skopelos ferry to taking off from the airport our plan is to email a hotel or pool bar for permission to dump our cases in the lobby / use their facilities for the morning whilst eating / drinking from their bar / restaurant.

Where would you think would be the closest hotel with a pool or pool bar to the ferry port? We'd get a taxi to the airport but with cases etc we'd walk from the port if the hotel was close enough.

The Hotel Alkyon is close to both the harbour and the airport, if my memory serves me well.

Hotel Alkyon and Oasis apartments both are great.when i was there i live in Alkyon. Oasis apartments are also good. both of these provide great facilities and great food and both are not so far from the airport.
