Leaving Myrties close to the Atlantic Hotel towards Massouri try the Ilios Restaurant. A traditional blue and white taverna where the food & service is very good. Run by Zois Strathopoulos in his second year, he tries very hard to please. My wife and I had three meals with Zois, each one different and special, we even walked the 2 kms from the Plaza Hotel each time and back of course. While I don't recommend the spaghetti marinara or the Moussaka, the other dishes served were lovely. They do a great youvetsi, fila and other traditional dishes and their servings are more than generous as is the service - probably the 'keenest to please' service we experienced in Greece. Prices are good and the atmosphere is pleasant. I had a Christmas card from Lois saying he was moving about 100 metres from his present restaurant to a new location.
