Hello. I will be in Santorini for a week in July and would like to do something special for my boyfriend's birthday. I was thinking along the lines of Skydiving, Scuba Diving, Paragliding, sailing lessons, etc. I want to find something really special that can be done in one day. I know with a lot of Scuba Diving companies, you need to be certified or need to take lessons before you can dive, but i would like to find something we can complete in one day. Please let me know if you have any suggestions as to what i can arrange to do! Thanks!!

Most scuba companies wil do a one day taster course - I've done one myself and it was great fun. I'm sure PADI must have a website.

I think i found what i want to do. The company Zulu Bungee does bungee jumping in the Corinth Canal. It says i can take a train or a bus from Athens to get there. Does anyone have any experience with Athens public transportation? will i be able to easilly figure out how to get from one place to another? Also, i heard a rumor that the metro system is going to be under construction during the month of July, when i will be there. Has anyone else heard this? Thanks!

I replied to this on another thread. Yes, it's easy.

You can go from Athens with the Proastiakos train. There are trains every hour.
Zulu Bungee is a very organized team.
I jumped a couple of years ago and it was a really crazy experience. 80 m in the channel with walls from both sides.
