| My wife and I visited Crete for a week in June 2007, staying in eastern Crete in Koutouloufari near Hersonissos. We made a day trip to Santorini from Crete. If we were to visit the Greek islands again in summer (say in the month of June), I would consider Corfu and Rhodes and perhaps Kefalonia. Which would you recommend? I am interested in history, sandy beaches, architecture and some greenery too, if possible, which is not widespread in some prominent and popular islands. Regards. |
