Hi - I've just booked for my first holiday to Santorini and it looks absolutely beautiful from all the photo's that are displayed on this site, however, Kamari is described as "noisy". I just want to check it's not going to be like Faliraki, Malia ie. 18-30 holidays?
Also, I believe there's a lot of noise from the airport? I live close to Manchester airport so a bit of aircraft noise doesn't bother me in the slightest but I don't want to be lay by the pool looking out over the sea to my left and watching a jumbo land to my right lol!! I'm just a bit concerned as I've persuaded my mum to come here and as she's paying for me too so I don't want to ruin her holiday by wanting somewhere quite lively to stay and ending up next to the airport. Any further info greatly appreciated.

| hi vikki i will do this in stages as i keep loosing my replies kamari is not noisy two nightclubs .Doms.Albertros small very cool.... i go some time and i'm old !!!. |

| yes you do get aircraft noise but only on the beach and it doesn't bother me. it is not a big airport. the flights are not every two mins.. if your mum doesn't like go to Parissa on the water taxi it is sooooo peaceful. afew mins away and wonderful. |

Brilliant - I can't see my mum in a nightclub and I wouldn't look very cool clubbing with my mum  . Although peace and quiet sounds utter bliss I get a bit fidgety if I've run out of things to occupy myself with and would drive her crackers hence choosing Kamari. I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time and I'm worrying about nothing! As long as there's good food and Oozo all will be good.

| Just returned and it's amazing! The first thing I did when I got back was to look to book again and go on a property hunting mission. |
