Hi - I've just booked for my first holiday to Santorini and it looks absolutely beautiful from all the photo's that are displayed on this site, however, Kamari is described as "noisy". I just want to check it's not going to be like Faliraki, Malia ie. 18-30 holidays?
Also, I believe there's a lot of noise from the airport? I live close to Manchester airport so a bit of aircraft noise doesn't bother me in the slightest but I don't want to be lay by the pool looking out over the sea to my left and watching a jumbo land to my right lol!! I'm just a bit concerned as I've persuaded my mum to come here and as she's paying for me too so I don't want to ruin her holiday by wanting somewhere quite lively to stay and ending up next to the airport. Any further info greatly appreciated.

. Although peace and quiet sounds utter bliss I get a bit fidgety if I've run out of things to occupy myself with and would drive her crackers hence choosing Kamari. I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time and I'm worrying about nothing! As long as there's good food and Oozo all will be good.
