|

Hello!
I was wondering if someone could help me with this.
My husband and I are planning to go on holiday in Santorini in august for a week. We have a -then one year old - lovely and lively baby. Im a little worried about how tiring it will be for him. I know it sounds silly, but do you think Santorini is a baby - friendly place? I mean e.g. can we use push chair all around the place? or is it too many steps and steep hilly villages?
Those who have been there, have you seen many families with small children?
Sorry, maybe it is a silly post, but i would like this holiday to be fun for everyone...
Thank you for your help in advance!! |

Hi,
Santorini is about thousands and thousands of steps.
At least, in the authentic villages perched on the cliffs. _________________ www.greeka.com Admin |

Thanks Oliv,
so does this means it is not a good idea to visit Santorini with baby? I would love to go there, but without pushchair, this holiday could be really difficult. How do locals cope?
Cheers |

I don't have chidrens yet so I am not aware of the super new technologies. Aren't backpacks for carrying babys?
I don't know how local people do. There are thousands of steps if you want to discover the places but just a few if you know were you go. _________________ www.greeka.com Admin |

| my wife and i go to santorini every year and have seen people with young children in pushchairs . i would recomend you stay in Kamari as it is very flat. if you visit Thira which is a must ,hire a car for the day and maybe invest is something that you can carry your baby in that is not wheel based if you know what i mean. remember also that Santorini is very hot in august so your baby will have to be well protected from the sun |
