Hi...
anyone got any views on the following accommodations....
Agalos studios/apartments
Hermes Studios
Both are in Kolios
Also what is the weather/sea temperature likely to be in early June? We love snorkelling, so if its going to be chilly in the water we may go later in the year.....
Thanks

| I can recommend the Yadim and the Marina, having stayed in both. The water will probably be a little chilly, but bearable. But the sandy beaches don't really make for great snorkelling, really. |

We had some nice meals at the Kohili, and also liked Jimmy's Pizza for more snacky meals.
But we can only go away once this year, so it has to be Leros. (Where the snorkelling is great, by the way.) |

Sooo...how do you get to Leros then? I have had a look, and it seems to be a 3 stage flight via Heathrow/Athens, and £400 each....unless you know a cheaper way.....far above my budget I'm afraid!

I booked the flights early, going out with BA from Heathrow (flight time was right), connecting with Olympic and back with Easyjet into Luton (close to home). Cost about £450 for 2 of us. The studio we rent out there is 45 euros a night, so in all it works out at about the same price as a package deal, I think. Alternatives would be flying to Kos & getting a ferry, or a ferry from Piraeus.
It'll be the 7th time we've been to Leros. Something about the place just calls us back. |

Wow, thats a really good price isn't it...
Our difficulty is that Manchester is our local airport, and getting those cheap easyjet flights is a bit difficult.
Maybe when the kids get older we might have a better look at it ....I can't imagine multi flighting with them at the moment.....
Thanks for the advice...I've put Leros on the "to do" list

Also, Leros may be a little quiet for children. My own little chick has flown the nest, bless her.
I was surprised at how cheap the BA flights were if we booked early. Only about £20 more than Easyjet. We just have to negotiate T5.....
